Fortunately, you can get all the meta requirements in a single evening this time around–no more having to do the same fight multiple mostly-exclusive ways over the course of a month in order to complete it. No more nailbiter immortal/undying BS either; every attempt can be wiped and retried if things aren’t going your way.

To boot, the 10-man requirements are actually fairly soft for heroic raid veterans such as yourselves. In my opinion, the hardest 10-man requirement now is Freya+3. So, if you can get that one, the rest should be smooth sailing.

Keeva got the 25man one from Naxx etc, which is awesome.. but it was looking like Kiiva would never get a chance. She still might not.. but at least this gives me more of a chance

@Kae and Aert –

I am extremely happy with the change. While I think we can probably get the 10 man one done before 3.2, we do not have a chance at the 25 man one.

Actually, I’m not even positive about the 10 man one, as we’ve only been running the 10 man one night a week, and not really focusing much on the more difficult hard modes (however, we did just start work on Firefighter, and are giving the 10 man two nights this week).

Overall though, I think it’s a good thing. The zone is just so big, and there are so many things in the Meta Achievement that take time to learn, that I truly do believe a little more time is warranted.

I know this will make many people very very happy. NO idea if I have a chance. But I have lots of friends who might have a chance at the 10 man one.

Personally, I think the Ulduar gear looks a LOT nicer than the coliseum gear, and will probably be a prettier instance still, too. I don’t want to give up Ulduar just because of T9 content… afterall, Algalon’s still up there laughing at me, dangling the Starcaller title in front of my nose!!
