I have to say, I’m relieved.
I’m happy to have been wrong about the date (I predicted ~xmas release).
Even with a guild change this week, I’m very ok with the earlier-than-I-expected date.
Personally, I too would have been ok with a few more weeks to progress on HM 25-man content, but there’s just been too much antipathy towards the ‘raid in a box.’
As much as I would have liked to complete the current content, I’m excited about Icecrown. It looks to be a fabulous instance!

And, Tamarind…. Illidan is ezmode
@Fealen: do what I did – get your 4-pc now, with 232i-level gear. I burned badges for the 4-piece, and ended up with only on Trophy item, but the 4pc was so good it was worth it. For most classes/specs, you’ll want to break the set bonus for 2pc T10 anyway, so you might as well enjoy it while you can!

I’m not ready.

I’m too lazy to prepare.

This will probably lead to me whining about all sorts of stuff in a weeks time. But that’s what I’m best at anyway.

I’m really looking forward to a new instance. It’s just boring to look at ToC walls week after week.

Two things are annoying me though:

-We are getting closer and closer to our Twins25 Heroic Kill. A new patch is surely going to disrupt our focused progress on this girls.

-I don’t like the prospect of switching out my gear from 25 heroic bosses some 1-2 weeks later for facerolling through the next tier of content.

My biggest worries are a) we won’t get Alone in the Darkness before it hits, and b) it’ll hit the moment I upgrade my computer to Windows 7 and thus have to freshly reinstall the entire patch download (along with all the rest of the WoW installation).

I need to make a backup copy of what the BG downloader has captured thus far. ^^;

My only issue with the patch dropping Dec 8th is that I have 183 Badges and only 1 Trophy…..hmmmm, what a waste if I can’t pick up my 4set.

Besides that I’m looking forward to showing good faith and fortune towards Arthas welcoming party. Their gratitude won’t be un-noticed.

I’m trying to hit 80 with my next alt.. so I won’t be jumping into the new stuff quite so soon. I am looking forward to some of the things though. The LFG tool looks to be really good and the pet pug! Oh I want one!!

I am so unprepared for this patch! I am in denial that its hitting before Mid January… seriously don’t most raiders have families that they spend time with over Christmas!!!! 2 of our tanks are both on holidays with no net access after this raid lock out and out GM is on night shifts over the christmas period because he runs a restuarant – I am seriously worried we will be unable to progress through IceCrown and will slip down the progression ranks

I also don’t want to think about my gear and haste and all that, i like my gear and don’t want to switch stuff out for haste. In fact I am very resentful to Blizzard it all so difficult.

Yep I’m definitely very much in denial about it all.
