I have had a number of people comment to me that Algalon was one of the coolest fights they had done. The room is beautiful, the graphics are beautiful (if not seizure enducing!), and the fight was well done in it’s difficult simplicity. It’s really too bad that so few people got to experience it.

I always felt that ToC came out far too early and rushed the end of Ulduar for most folks. I wish Blizzard had given Ulduar the time that it deserved as an instance. It was very large, with many bosses and really deserved more time. Sadly, more people have killed Anub than Yogg. Should tell you which encounter offered more challenge…and what most people think about being challenged

I try not to think about “the future” too much. I like to be in the “now”, in the content I’m currently enjoying.

In the end, our francophone canadian did it Largely because we all know Selej loves talking! But, all of our star collapsers did a great job, even you!

I think I will probably go back to “Starcaller” once the novelty of this one wears off, just because I like it better.

The way I see it there are three reasons to raid:

1) To see the content. In which case you should see Alagon because he’s content you haven’t seen.
2) For the challenge. In which case you should do Ulduar Hard Modes because they’re tougher than most of Icecrown.
3) Because you want the loot. In which case you should log out from the game right now and come back in November, when you’ll be able to get equivalent gear killing trash mobs in Cataclysm.

I know how you feel, it’s a very nice title and accomplishment!

While everyone was happy to get him…there was definately the sigh of relief that we were done with Ulduar (save maybe one more Algalon kill for those that missed this one).

My server is one of those few without a “Death’s Demise” title floating about yet. I have a few guildies hinting to me about it…of course I told them “talk to me after Algalon and Anub are down”. Last night I was well reminded that we just killed Algalon
