Tell Me: What Would You Like to Know?!   6 comments

One of my favorite druids is abandoning me here shortly to wear flowers around his neck and drink out of coconuts in nice, balmy 80 degree weather for a week (yes, yes I am jealous!  I admit it!  TAKE ME WITH YOU!!!).  Unfortunately, I don’t think that I’ll fit in his luggage, and thus must stay here in dreary, rainy Seattle contemplating if my lack of vitamin D has me emo enough to drown myself in Lake Washington (don’t worry!  I’m not that sun deprived yet!).  However, during his absence I told him that I’d do a few guest posts for him…and have also managed to sucker in two of my other favorite characters into the fray as well.  Now, I gave these two comedians a topic and told them to make it fun.  I’m curious to see what their combined creativity comes up with! :)  (And you should be too!).

But, that got me thinking, well…if someone (read: ME!!!) gave them an idea of what to write, why can’t someone do the same for me too!  Although, I am admittedly not as entertaining as the two of them…so results may vary ;)

I do have a topic or two up my sleeve for my stint as a guest poster for Virile, but I thought it might be fun to take suggestions for topics as well and see where they send me.  (And even if they don’t make it up during Virile’s tropic getaway [still jealous, btw!], you never know what you might find here one day!).

Topics aren’t limited in scope, and suggestions can be from anything fun and goofy to something more serious.  But now is your chance!  If you ever wondered “I wonder what Beru would say about…”, now is the time to take advantage.

So, without further ado, tell me what you’d like to know!

  1. Thanks again! :)

  2. I forgot what I was supposed to write about. I blame the alcohol because early-onset Alzheimers is slightly scarier than a budding drinking problem.

  3. I have been shammy healing lately in raids, but I want to understand my druid too! Even though I left her for awhile I want to really understand druid haste! I mean maybe you have done this before, and I’m sure there are tons of posts on haste if so just re-direct me. Please go over haste with a focus on celestial focus. I’m a little behind on my druid! So I need to know. What is the haste cap w/ CF and w/out CF. What about nature’s grace? Do nourish focused healers pick this up? Do you use the haste/rejuv glyph? I hate it when tank healing it drives me nuts, but for raid healing seems awesome. Ok, so maybe this isn’t new, but maybe you can do something along these lines.

  4. The weather on the Olympic Peninsula’s actually been quite lovely.

Anyways, on topic, I’m less interested in the whole resto druid thing, seeing as I’m a prot pally, and a lot more interested in the whole GM/RL aspect of your blog. I’m particularly interested in hearing more about what works for you in both your administrative and leadership styles.

  5. There’s a ton of stuff I’d like to know about druid healing.

    – How does 25 man healing differ from 10 man healing? (I’ve mostly only healed 10’s, but would really like to get into 25’s) Are different gear options/talents/glyphs necessary for each?

    – When is it best to break the T9 4 set? When you get any item that’s an upgrade? Save for 2 (or even 4) items of T10? Or forget about the bonuses altogether and go for whatever haste pieces you can find?

    – Mods, Addons and Macros for druid healing.

    – Polite ways to keep unruly tanks in line.

    – Lifebloom and how best to use it.
