I’m done percolating…

My original perception of Monolith as an outsider was always that the guild was above the fray when it came to these matters, and I think that will continue to be the case.

Whether we get their first, second, or at some other time, I don’t think it will change the essential nature of the people who make up the core of the guild, which is what makes Monolith a great place to be.

Hmm…I’m not really sure about other guilds, I think one of the top alliance guilds stopped raiding 25s, and I do think a lot of members looked for a new 25 man home, but I’m not positive.

And for all I know, the rumors could be just that, rumors

Oh wow, we have family visiting so I haven’t been playing and haven’t heard any rumors for a bit.

Unless I am mistaken, didn’t one of the other very highly placed guilds on our server fall apart a month or two ago? And many of the former members went to the number one guild? That was my understanding and I wonder if that had any part in it.

I understand where you are coming from but I think Monolith will be fine. Everything I have heard and what I have read here makes me think you guys are built solidly and will continue on your own path regardless of what the rest of the server is doing.

Some interesting point from a PvE tree, these issues are something tbh I have never really thought about being the GM of a casual pvp guild.

I think being second affords you to make more mistakes without being slammed so publicly which is always nice..A bit of breathing room.

While I think that it’s always bad for any server to lose an iconic guild, I don’t really think it adds any extra pressure to Monolith. Monolith is not built like that. It is built to run at it’s own pace regardless of what is happening around it.

The only added pressure will be pressure added by yourselves. Who cares what anyone else thinks? There are a ton of servers out there, do people really care that much how servers compare to one another?

Also, I think it would be a little bit different if the other guild was on the same faction. With the level of interaction we have with them, they may as well be on a different server.

I’m guessing that there won’t be much of an effect on Monolith, but that’s just a guess!
