This is a really great writeup, so glad I found it - especially from a healer's perspective. We, too, killed Putricide HM first... and many others have told us that Sindragosa is waaaay easier than he is. It took us a while, but we got it. We do, however, still struggle from time to time. Our biggest issues with Sindragosa are the simple things that make me want to stab people through the internet (must invent a device for that someday...). Things like dying to blistering cold, paladins forgetting that their bubble still makes everyone else es'plode if they have unchained magic stacks, frost tomb stacks, bla bla. Anywho, I just wanted to post and say that this is a GREAT list of tips and I'm looking forward to checking out your site later on this week. Meanwhile, I gotta tab back over and get our invites out :P

While wands don't trigger stacks of back lash, they will trigger stacks of Chilled to the Bone. Ultimately we decided that it was easier on the healers to not have non-melee members stacking Chilled to the Bone as well :)

Very good guide... on thing I would add though as advice to the casters. You wand will not trigger stacks of backlash!! Low DPS is better than no DPS. Move away, drop your stacks, wand her til your debuff is gone then restart your DPS rotation.

This is an incredible post and strategy from you. I know I have had a difficult time with this on 10m hard mode and I have yet to find any class specific healing strategies that really go in depth with this - or any period.

I will be copying this and throwing it on my guild boards, for a good reference.

Thanks! :)

I found that a warrior-tank can actually not get hit by Blistering Cold. It does work through a .. hmm... limitation of the ability system.

When initiating a charge, the location of the charging person is calculated as the "starting" position as long as the warrior is "in flight" and will only update to "in her face" when you actually hit Sindragosa. Basically this means, if the tank runs out, turns around at just the right moment, presses charge and arrives after the whitish blue graphics have played, they won't take damage - and more importantly, Sindragosa won't move.

I found this easier to pull off in 10-man mode, where the lag was less, but the point of "turning around and pressing charge" is close to "where the casting progress bar crosses the crossed-swords-icon-for-in-combat on my screen resolution and with my addons". Now I am aware that this is no help whatsoever, but the move can be practised in normal :)

And thanks a ton for the "Curse of Tongues" tip. I don't think we ever tried that - and we run with two warlocks.
