I find it weird that this change to colossal smash comes right after a blue post saying they won’t do changes like this. Also every resto druid just smiled! This really helps reducing bloat. I wish they would swap effloressence and living seeds spots in the talent tree now though, so that way druids would have a method of aoe healing pre 49.

CC has been on two different systems for PvP and PvE since Wrath. I’m shocked it’s taken this long for other abilities to be treated in the same manner.

It’s a good change. We’ll see more abilities start operating like this, I’m sure.

And there was much rejoicing! They are going to have to redesign Living Seed now, no question about it. Nobody is going to pick it up as it is. I think it is an excellent candidate for the druid damage mitigation (hopefully slimming it to just one point in the process).

Now if only we can get Nature’s Grace swapped with Moonglow or Genesis. I’d be a happy, happy druid.
