It’s been awhile since I’ve done one of these types of updates. I could probably tell you I didn’t have much to say – but since I often did updates that were almost completely devoid of WoW information, I’m not sure that’s entirely true. I think it would probably be more accurate to say that I’ve been busy…and lazy. I mean I could have easily offered an update on any number of things, but when I had my down time I simply found I wanted to do something other than write! As harsh is that might sound…honesty is best! (Right? RIGHT?!).
Whatever! I have both time and desire to write at this moment, as well as things to say! So I suppose that we should get to that before I lose any of the above.
Wait, what?! (It’s okay, I know that you are probably thinking it, I can hear the wheels turning from here!). Remember that post about the 5.3 PTR I did the other day? The one where I said I had reason to believe that I’d probably have a little more to say about druids as we moved forward? No? Okay, perhaps we should start from the beginning here. I wanted to let everyone know that I have been invited by the Team Waffle Cast group to participate in their Pre-MoP Resto Druid Round Table Friday, August 10 at 7:00 PST.
The round table will include:
We will be talking about the changes we’ve seen in the beta, how we feel those changes will impact us as healers, and brainstorming for improvements that we’d like to see before launch. There will also be a Q&A segment at the end so please use the link above to send in any questions you’d like answered!
I have been invited to be a part of a Resto Druid round table tomorrow night with the Waffle Cast crew. It will be at 7:00 pst, and will be live streamed if you would like to listen/participate. You can also head over to the Waffle Cast website and post any questions that you’d like to have addressed during the round table. The participants for the round table are as follows:
Diziet: Tournament Player (most recently WCG 2011 in Korea)
Beruthiel: 25m Heroic Raider from Falling Leaves and Wings
Hamlet: EJ Math/Theorycrafting Guru and creator or Tree Calcs
Synergy: Multi Season Gladiator
Lissanna: Restokin and Druid Class MVP
There is a very diverse list of participants, so don’t hesitate to ask any resto druid questions you may have on your mind and tune in to hear all things resto!
I just wanted to let everyone know that I was invited back with the lovely Kurn and Majik for the one year anniversay of Blessing of Frost. In addition to myself, Kurn and Majik were joined by vivaciousVidyala and Big Crits‘ Stoneybaby. It was loads of fun, and I’m really tickled to have been asked back.
We talked about all things Cataclysm from leveling to preparing for 4.3. And, of course, debated the proper name for Bloodlust (which is, in case you are unsure, is Bloodlust). All in all, it should be quite an enjoyable listen, and there is most definitely something for everyone.
If you haven’t checked it out yet, what are you waiting for?! 🙂
I actually have a content oriented post scheduled to go up today (assuming that I have time to get it finished and my brain/thoughts cooperate!), but I wanted to interrupt my regularly scheduled post to let you all know that I have been invited to be a guest on the Twisted Nether Podcast this Saturday – June 18th!
The podcast starts at 8:00 pst and as I understand it there will be a live session where the audience will have the opportunity to comment and ask questions throughout the show. If you’ve ever wanted the opportunity to make me squirm….er, ask me a question, now is your chance! I’m very much looking forward to it, and it should be a lot of fun. I hope you will be able to join me! If you can’t and there’s something you’d like me to touch on, leave a comment below and I’ll see what I can do!
See you Saturday! 🙂
The other night I had the privilege of joining Kurn and Majik for the most recent episode of their podcast Blessing of Frost. The topic of discussion for the evening was how to award the new legendary weapon – Dragonwrath, Terecgosa’s Rest. (hint: Kurn will accept bribes in the form of chocolate!). I had a really great time talking with both Majik and Kurn, and want to thank them again for having me on the show! If you’d like to hear what we had to say, I’d encourage you to listen in! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to let either Kurn or I know, and we’d both be happy to answer them as best we can!
You might also gain some insight into the picture above by listening in as well. Otherwise you will just have to use your imagination or be left guessing! 😉
